About the film
THIS is a visual realization through the eyes of dogs and their parents. To bring to the attention of an audience hungry for gentle pleasures as the coronavirus becomes containable. It is constantly proven by dogs and their people that the past only helps to define the present and we must remember to live in the NOW. The daily travelers through the magical gathering places like the Duboce Triangle dog parks are a constant manifestation of this as 4-legged, 2 legged, and sometimes 3-legged beings cavort daily running, jumping, chatting, barking, licking, scratching, gossiping dutifully and overall, the tumbling and leaping of the pandemic puppies who can’t wait to face their new adventures.
Everyone has a story. Every family of dog and owner has a background. And in these magical circumstances, everybody shares. The noon parade is mainly for puppies and trainers, but the park clears by one and back to work. But at 5:00pm the cares of the day seem to disappear, and the neighborhood rolls out hungry for laughs and smiles. The neighborhood seems to empty out from those who live in the little streets that dead end in the park. Conversations ensue - always political, always about the cost of vet bills and sicknesses, always about the changes in the city, and of course always about each particular history and amazement.
